This project began in the mid-80s and completed for the Great Jubilee of 2000,It had extended the A Line to the west through 5 new stations. One of these( Cipro-Musei Vaticani)was organized as a set-square that connects different paths from various parts of the city in a lower level area covered by a transparent roof structure.
Wherever possible, the stations as served as aggregation centers, qualifying the landscape of a suburban area with poor urban value.
